Answer: Yes we can. we just need to add plywood to the roof.

 

Question: Why do you need to add plywood to the roof? Doesn't my shake roof all ready have it?

Answer: No most shakes roofs don't have plywood.

Answer: Yes there is  medium, heavy and shingle type of shake roofs.

Answer: There is 20,30,40,50 and TL lifetime composition roofs.

 

Question: What type of plywood do you use and why?

Answer: We use cdx plywood because it is very dependable and dose not absorb water.

we do not use OSB type plywood. It is not recommend because it will absorb and create mold.

 

Question: Why dose my roof need so many vents?

Answer: Your roof needs ventilation so it dose not build up heat and moisture for moss to grow.

 

Question: Can you add a new roof atop of my old roof without taking  it off?

Answer: Yes we can but we do not recommend it.

 

Question: Why should i take off the old layer of roof?

Answer: If you add a new layer of roof on top of the old one moisture can build between the two roofs causing moss to grow.

 

Question: Why do i need valleys on my roof?

Answer: You need valleys so that the water from the roof flows to the gutter.

 

Question: What can happened if there is no metal valleys.

Answer: There is a chance that the water will go under the roof and cause a leak.

 

Question: Why should my roof be pressure washed?
Answer: To remove all the moss and debris off the roof.

Question: What will happen if I don’t pressure wash my roof?
Answer: The combination of the moss and debris will ruin the shakes on the roof.

Question: How much pressure dose your machine use?
Answer: Our custom made machine uses about 1500 psi at 10 gallons of water per. minute

Question: Can the damage shakes cause my roof to have a leak?
Answer: Yes most of the time if a shake is not repair it can cause you to have a leak.

Question: Will you be using the same type of shakes my roof has?
Answer: Yes we will be using the same type of shakes.

Question: How do you know what shakes need to be replace?
Answer: If the shake is revealing any black paper or its cracked in a way where water could get to the black paper.

Question: What type of shakes to do you use and why?
Answer: We use #1 grade blue label shakes because they are the best quality shake you can use on your roof.

Question: What other type of shakes our there and why don’t you use them.
Answer:  #2 grade red label, Standard grade black label. The reason we don't use them is because they are of lesser quality.  *refer to the gallery for pictures.  

Question: After the pressure washing and repairs are done then what happens?
Answer: After that all has been done your roof get treated with M-Guard w552.

Question: What is M-Guard w552
Answer: Its a water based oil treatment with 2.7% zinc which protects you roof against the rain and sun and also form the moss coming back for 5 years guaranteed.

Question: What will happened if I don't treat my roof?
Answer: The fungus and moss will grow back and eat away at the life of your roof.

Question: Dose the company only pressure wash roof?
Answer: No we also pressure wash deck, fences, siding and all types of concrete services .

Question: Do you also treat the fences and decks with a treatment?
Answer: Yes we do its call CWF-UV.

Question: What is CWF-UV?
Answer: CWF-UV is a Oil base Ultraviolet-resistant formula that protects against the rain and the moss or mildew form coming back.

Answer: We recommend that you do all this about every 5 years.

Answer: It will cost around $9,000 to replace a roof and $1,000 to remove the old roof on an average roof.
